Oakley Kato performance sunglasses offer mask-like feel

Engineered to “shatter the boundaries of sports performance,” Oakley’s new Kato sunglasses feature an innovative, frameless lens, crafted with an extended wrap and built-in retention to mimic the structural properties of a typical frame.

This uniquely shaped lens follows the contours of the face and creates a mask-like feel. Paired with Oakley’s optics, this provides the wearer with the confidence and the feeling of no limitation.

Oakley Kato features an adjustable rake system and multiple nose pads for a customized, seamless fit. The strong yet lightweight O Matter stems provide durability, while Unobtainium earsocks are molded over the stems to deliver comfort with a no-slip grip.

The lens itself is one-piece in construction, and its brow is moulded outwards to offer rigidity without blocking the field of view. According to Oakley, the Kato’s lens is 11mm wider than the next widest frame in their lineup (Radar EV), allowing the user to see through the top of the lens.

These sport sunglasses are available in two versions: Kato and Kato X. The Kato’s lens flows around your nosebridge while the Kato X has a traditional nosebridge cut-out.

Both models are available for P21,995 at Oakley SM Mall of Asia, SM City North EDSA, SM City Clark, TriNoma, and Bonifacio High Street.
