iPhone 14 will reportedly get a ‘complete redesign’

While everyone is still waiting for iPhone 13 to hit the shelves, a new leak is already getting many people hyped on what’s next for Apple’s flagship phone line. Bloomberg’s tech insider Mark Gurman recently reported that the iPhone 14 will be a “complete redesign.”

Gurman also said that “the minor changes this year also mean that Apple’s engineers were working behind the scenes on bigger things that will take more time.” Although Gurman did not reveal any other details on these changes, he revealed that users can expect to see them on the “new entry-level and Pro models.”

His claims also conform to the predictions of renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that made the rounds online earlier this year. According to Kuo, the iPhone model Apple is releasing in 2022 will feature a notch-less design replaced by a simple hole-punch front camera.

The upcoming model is also expected to resemble a supersized iPhone 4 with a titanium outer band, thicker chassis, and flush rear cameras. Contrary to what was rumored, Kuo also said that Apple may not resurrect the Touch ID until 2023.

Apart from the total redesign, word has it that the iPhone 14 lineup will not include a mini model and instead focus on a new “iPhone 14 Max.”
