WeWork launches drive to support Southeast Asia’s startup ecosystem

WeWork, one of the leading global flexible space providers, has launched WeWork Growth Campus, a new initiative aimed at giving a boost to Southeast Asia’s entrepreneurial startup ecosystem.

According to the co-working space operator, the initiative includes close to US$8 million of investment in subsidised spaces, mentorship, and education.

Growth Campus is built on WeWork’s expertise in providing its members with the network and space to help their business grow and thrive.

Members of Growth Campus will have complimentary access to the WeWork Labs service, which offers virtual acceleration support: online access to mentoring and coaching opportunities, customised educational programming, a global network and member community, and exclusive member benefits and discounts to help them grow.

Growth Campus is open to start-ups and scaleups, accelerators and incubators, investors of all sizes, and corporates with an innovation agenda. Launched in the UK in February, the program attracted over 800 signups in the first six months, including Antler and Crowdcube.
