New ‘Stranger Things 4’ trailer gives a peek inside haunted Creel House

Two years may have passed since Netflix first announced Stranger Things Seasons 4, but it looks like the show’s producers are keeping their word to make the long wait worth it. The streaming giant has recently dropped new footage of the show, which offers a look inside a never-before-seen location: the haunted Creel House.

The clip was unveiled by Netflix during its three-hour TUDUM global fan event streamed on Sunday, September 26. It gives off an eerie vibe, which those who have watched the film Haunting of Hill House will likely relate to. The trailer features a family happily moving into the Creel House in the 1950s, but only to be welcomed by what seems to be supernatural forces.

Decades later, we see the Stranger Things gang break into the house and investigate what really happened there. According to CNET, the show’s creators—the Duffer Brothers—describe the house as a “super important” location in season 4.

Apart from the new Creek House, the show previously gave a chilling glimpse of the Hawkins National Laboratory, where Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) grew up being experimented on by Dr. Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine). Another trailer also revealed that police officer Jim Hopper (David Harbour) is alive in Russia. Fans assumed Hopper to be dead after he was killed at the end of Season 3.

The show is also set to introduce four new characters: band nerd Vickie, basketball player Patrick, guidance counselor Ms. Kelly and cheerleader Chrissy.

Stranger Things 4 is set to premiere in 2022. Watch the new trailer below.
