Pokémon TV app arrives on Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch users—kids and adults alike—can now binge-watch past seasons of the Pokémon anime series right from the palm of their hands, as the Pokémon TV app has just dropped on the console.

Released by Nintendo on Thursday, Aug. 26, Pokémon TV was first launched as a section on the brand’s official website in 2010, then as an app on Android and iOS in 2013.

It features a slew of classic episodes, including the entirety of the first two seasons, as well as the ongoing Pokémon Journeys series. It also contains some movies and specials, such as Pokémon Origins and Twilight Wings.

Trainers can pick up tips from Pokémon Trading Card Game and video game competitions, while kids can stream sing-along songs from the app’s Junior category.

Pokémon TV is free to download from the Nintendo eShop, with content to be refreshed periodically. Signing up for an account is not required, as you can either log in as a guest or link a Pokemon Trainer Club account to start browsing the app.
