A lot of rumors about Apple’s upcoming iPhone 13 has been going the rounds online in the past few months, and the latest to join the jaunt has something to do about the device’s much-awaited release date.
New leaks suggest that the tech giant may be eyeing to unveil the iPhone 13 on Friday, September 17, and its third-generation AirPods on Thursday, September 30.
According to MacRumors, the scoop came from a Weibo account named @PandaIsBald and was later reported by the Chinese website IT Home. @PandaIsBald posted screenshots of an e-commerce app, which contained images and release dates of all four models of iPhone 13, as well as the AirPods 3.
Based on the photos, the iPhone 13 and its Mini, Pro, and Pro Max variants are scheduled to go on sale on September 17 while the AirPods 3 will arrive on September 30.
MacRumors noted, though, to take the information “with a hefty dose of salt,” as IT Home offered no other information to back up the claim. It also said that the website has previously shared screenshots in the past that proved to be inaccurate.
At the same time, Apple has yet to announce any official release date for either product, so better stay tuned.
