The Aspire Vero (AV15-51) is the first consumer laptop in Acer’s new sustainable range, aimed to reduce waste by including eco-friendly packaging and components made from recyclable plastics.
The laptop’s chassis is composed of 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, which Acer claims cuts CO2 emissions by 21% for the production of that part.
Meanwhile, the keycaps also contain 50% PCR plastic, and the Aspire Vero’s award-winning 100% recyclable packaging can be repurposed as a DIY laptop stand.
The Vero also boasts of a 99% recyclable 15.6-inch FHD IPS display.
The eco-friendly laptop runs Windows 11 and is powered by 11th-gen Intel Core processors and Intel Iris X Graphics.
When working on less demanding tasks, Acer’s new VeroSense software gives users the option of selecting a usage mode that has been optimized for energy efficiency and battery life.
For connectivity, this laptop has Wi-Fi 6, a Type-C USB port, and two Type-A USB ports. Acer TrueHarmony and Acer PurifiedVoice with AI noise reduction allow for crystal-clear conference calls.
Users interested in going all-green can complete the full eco-friendly Vero set with the Macaron Vero Mouse (AMR020), Vero Mousepad (AMP120 / AMP121), and Vero Sleeve (ABG131 / ABG132).
From now until November 12, the Acer will be available at a pre-selling price of P39,999 from its original price of P41,999. You can now pre-order on Acer’s official e-commerce site.
