With sellers preparing for some of the biggest holiday sales of the year, Shopee is introducing the Livestream Call feature on Shopee Live to enhance customer experience and improve engagement during a live stream session. During a livestream call, sellers can entertain inquiries via audio or video call while other viewers listen in.
Shopee Live has been a go-to for sellers on Shopee to connect with users and attract more sales. With more consumers turning to online platforms for their needs, entrepreneurs strive to adopt digitalization to sustain their businesses and capture opportunities in the new digital economy.

“The needs of our sellers are always evolving, and we are committed to providing the necessary tools for them to improve their methods of engaging with shoppers,” said Martin Yu, director at Shopee Philippines. “As more shoppers turn to livestream to learn about brands, products, and interact with sellers, we are glad that the new Shopee Live features will also enhance their shopping experience.”
Earlier this year, Shopee rolled out a co-streaming feature tjat allowed livestream hosts to co-stream with one of their viewers. The Livestream Flash Sale was also introduced so that sellers can promote their discounted products, attract more views, and boost orders during a live stream. Meanwhile, the In-app Business Insights features gave livestreamers access to the number of unique and total views, total likes, and confirmed orders from the livestream.
