Admit it: One of the joys of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is getting a rack of discounts from your fave restaurants. Now it’s time to burn those extra fast-food calories, as Smart Communications Inc. and 7-Eleven Philippines are offering fully vaccinated individuals free registration to the 7-Eleven Virtual Run 2021.
Smart said in a press release that it has teamed up with the country’s leading convenience store to promote vaccination and help encourage a healthy lifestyle among customers in the online marathon happening on November 7 to 30, 2021.
Forty thousand runners nationwide are expected to join in the 7-Eleve Virtual Run 2021, with registration being free to virtual runners who already received their second dose or completed one dose of a single-dose vaccine.

To avail of this perk, you would have to make at least a 100 peso single-receipt purchase of the products corresponding with the run category distance you wish to register for from any 7-Eleven store. View the entire list here.
Next, take a photo of your receipt and upload it along with your vaccination card on www.run711.com.
Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated participants can still join, but will have to pay the registration fee of P500 to P1,500, depending on your desired running distance.
Just like last year, registered runners may complete their race distances from their chosen location — at home, on their treadmill, or on a regular jogging trail — and log their time on the 7-Eleven Run website.
Virtual runners will receive a race kit when they successfully register. Finishers will also be awarded a finishers kit that they can claim at designated 7-Eleven stores.
Registration is open until Oct. 30, 2021.
